After a nice lunch, make a short stop to enjoy this beautiful view of the region. You’ll see Lake Léman, Geneva, the Haut-Jura Natural Park, and even the magnificent Mont Blanc.

The next stop on the route is Sylans Lake and the “Glacières de Sylans". Located in the Nantua water gap, the lake was the site of one of the most important ice harvesting activities, reminding us of what life was like before fridges existed! What you can see today are the ruins of the ice factory.
The lake is classified as a natural site. Take a walk around, delve back into history, and enjoy the beautiful setting.
After the visit, head back to the car to go to the famous town of Mâcon in Burgundy, the final destination for today.

Welcome to Mâcon, the city well known for its chardonnay wine. Tonight, you’ll spend the night at the Panorama 360 Hotel.
