You’ll start day five of the itinerary by visiting Épernay, home of the most prestigious champagne houses. Leave your car in the car park and make your way towards the stunning Perrier Castle.
Enjoy the stroll along the prestigious Avenue de Champagne.

Perrier Castle is an exceptional building that was built in the 19th century. It’s home to the Champagne Wine and Regional Archaeology Museum.
Exhibited on three levels, the various collections retrace the history of the Champagne region, covering the geology, the anthropology, the champagne, and the patrons of the late 19th century and the Belle Époque.
The visit is an interactive, sensory, and fun experience. Adults and children absolutely love it.

Before you leave Épernay, visit one of the beautiful champagne houses on the prestigious avenue that has the same name.
Walk back to the car and head towards Comtesse Lafond Castle.

Comtesse Lafond Castle welcomes you into a stunning setting. The estate and the building are majestic.
Champagne Comtesse Lafond is a family-run business where viticulture traditions have been passed down from generation to generation. Their passion and unique creation shape the elegance of their champagne.
This tour will take you across the castle, the cellars, and the vault. At the end, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the three champagnes they produce.

After the visit, you’ll be heading to Reims, the capital of the Champagne region. Relax and enjoy the scenic drive crossing the Natural Park.

Start the visit with the prestigious Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral. The Gothic building from the 13th century is impressive in size and details. It was also witness to major historical events such as the coronation of kings.
When you go inside, have a look at the back of the façade. You’ll see a triumphal arch dedicated to the king leaving the cathedral at the end of his coronation ceremony. The wall is carved with niches into which 52 statues were carved.
