Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Reims
Start the visit with the prestigious Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral. The Gothic building from the 13th century is impressive in size and details. It was also witness to major historical events such as the coronation of kings.
When you go inside, have a look at the back of the façade. You’ll see a triumphal arch dedicated to the king leaving the cathedral at the end of his coronation ceremony. The wall is carved with niches into which 52 statues were carved.
