    Landmark
    Open Details
Head northwest to Camel Safari, an accredited zoo on a remote site spanning more than 170 acres along the Virgin River near Bunkerville. A daily two-hour tour departs at 10:00 a.m. on a motorised tram to explore the grounds. You can also pay a little extra and actually ride a camel. Either way, you'll get an up-close look at the exotic animals who call the land home. You'll see more than 30 camels, as well as a llama, zebra, sand cats, and more.
Guides are knowledgeable and full of fun details on each animal's background and how they adapt to their environment in Southern Nevada. Tours only depart with reservations confirmed in advance, so check availability and book online.

    Cablp

    Restaurant
    Open Details
After the safari tour, you'll drive through Moapa Valley, a quiet residential community where lush green grass offers a sharp contrast against bright red sandstone. Stop for lunch at Cablp, which stands for Criss Angel's Breakfast, Lunch & Pizza. The restaurant was launched by the magician and Vegas headliner after he fell in love with the surrounding great outdoors.
The menu is simple, but includes inspired takes on classic diner dishes. You can't go wrong with the pizza and burgers, although the chicken-fried steak with white Alabama-style gravy is a local favourite (and a holdover from when the business previously operated under another name). The restaurant (pronounced ""ka-blip"") also sells Criss Angel's own brand of coffee and Italian ice desserts. No reservations, but that's not usually an issue, since the town is so quiet. However, if you're tight on time, place a pickup order from a walk-up to-go window.
    Cablp Opening Hours: Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday – Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Wednesday: Closed
If you're traveling Monday–Wednesday, try The Inside Scoop, which offers similar diner fare and ice cream less than a block south.

    Museum
    Open Details
The Lost City Museum operates inside an eye-catching adobe brick building that dates back to the 1930s, when it was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps. It houses artefacts, including baskets and pottery, that once belonged to ancient Native American tribes. Some were recovered from the desert where Lake Mead now exists. The museum is very small and can be thoroughly experienced within half an hour or so, even when taking a moment to watch two short films in the viewing room.
Pay a small fee at the door.

    Open Details
The Neon Museum preserves, restores, and exhibits the iconic signs and marquees that lit up Las Vegas over the years. Some of them are from long-departed casinos like the Stardust and Riviera. Others are from hotels still around, like a giant pirate skull from Treasure Island. The best tours take place at night, when visitors can walk among illuminated exhibits in the Neon Boneyard.
Attendance is limited, so definitely purchase tickets in advance. Consider buying a separate ticket for “Brilliant! Jackpot”, a show in the North Gallery that brings old signs to life with lights, sound, and video projections.
