Exploring the Wine Region

Start your day with a visit to Loggia del Lionello, one of the oldest historic buildings in Udine. It was built in the central city square and named after Nicolò Lionello, a well-known Italian architect of the 15th century. It’s famous for the elegance of the central balcony, as well as the windows and columns of the main facade, belonging to the Venetian Gothic style.
