Dusit Thani Dubai
We've chosen this hotel for a reason. Well-known luxury Thai chain Dusit Thani, in conjunction with the location in the center of Dubai and the renovated rooms at the multi-storey tower at such a low price! Price/performance comparison is ideal, and the airport is just 15 minutes drive away. Nearby there are other options available for any taste – cheaper or more luxurious.
We decided to start and finish this trip scenario at noon, but you can adjust the route for yourself, depending on your flight.
Let's assume that luggage is left in the storage room or in your room. It's time to eat something after the flight. We won't go far in order to escape the heat.

Spice Souk
Call a taxi or ask the restaurant staff to help you. In this city, especially in hot weather, there are no people on the streets at all. No one move over long distances on foot because it might just be dangerous in the heat. Therefore, no problems with the transport.
Spice Souk is the spice market. It's part of the old market of Deira. Here you will find everything! Even things that you won't find in huge malls where luxury reigns. Once the spices were worth more than gold. Those days are gone, but people still admire spices which can dramatically change the taste of food. It is an oasis of Arab culture!
Dubai has always been a meeting place for the Bedouin nomads and fishermen, pearl divers, traders, the wealthy merchants and ordinary people who want to spend, but to save. Here they all found what they were looking.
We have added three different markets. You decide where to go and just take a look, and where to bargain. A bargain is a must! If you do not bargain, the seller may even find it offensive. And do not be offended by their gloomy faces when you offer your price. It's part of the ritual.

Deira Perfume Souk
Perfumery products first came to Europe in the Middle Ages from the eastern countries. Until now, the UAE are major exporters of perfumery and cosmetics around the world. Nowhere in Dubai you will find as many perfumes in one place as there are in the Dubai Perfume Souk.
Perfumes presented here are made using recipes handed down from generation to generation. None of them is made on the basis of alcohol, Muslims prefer oily perfume, wax-based or solid.

Dubai City of Gold (سوق الذهب)
A walk on this market, as well as on the others, is a real journey into the past. The amount of gold is striking! Incredible atmosphere. Do not allow it to absorb your mind completely so you don't find yourself with no money, or even with the debt on the credit card.
Here you can buy both the original jewellery and the replicas of famous brands. But it's hard to call it a fake. Emirates laws are strict, so all the gold is real, and the work is done at the highest level. Even if you buy a copy, be sure about the quality. Just check the samples. They can be trusted here.
Do you want the original jewellery for big money? Ok! A little bit later you'll be able to get lost in the two largest and most luxurious shopping centers of the world.

Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (حي الفهيدي التاريخي)
In the glare of the center of Dubai the old part of the city is hidden – the area of Al-Fahidi. There are many historical buildings that are home to craft shops, cafes and galleries.
A distinctive feature of the Al-Fahidi are these exquisite houses with solid walls, once sheltering their wealthy owners. On the walls, you can see the wind towers – the air conditioning of the past. Courtyards with decorative trim contrast with the external inaccessibility of buildings. Al Fahidi takes you to the century before last.
Great time for a walk in the evening. The play of light among the old houses is just like in the fairy tale.

Fish Market
This restaurant is located at the Raddison Blu hotel and it's definitely worth visiting.
First, it is located right next to the mouth of the bay. Your food will be as fresh as possible, in the literal sense – just out of the water.
Second, as the name implies, this is a real market! You go in, look around and choose what you want to be cooked for you. The cost is determined by weight. Dinner here is not cheap, but one hundred percent worth its price.
