Park here for your time spent in the pueblo of El Triunfo. This small pueblo, a former silver mining town, can be easily explored on foot.

Not many people driving through this tiny former mining community gazing up at the La Ramona chimney are aware of the connection to Gustav Eiffel of the Eiffel Tower.
However, legend has it that Gustav Eiffel designed the chimney tower for the 1800s silver mine this pueblo is famous for.
After nearly 100 years of neglect and defunct mines, La Ramona was carefully restored in 2018 so that future generations can learn her famous past.

The exhibit is packed with facts about the interesting history of El Triunfo and the mining heritage of this pueblo.

Early mornings call for early lunches! Bar El Minero de El Triunfo, featured in Condé Nast Traveler and Forbes Magazine, is a hidden gem in this rural, interior section of Baja.
For more than a decade, travellers and locals alike have been taking a seat on the welcoming patio to enjoy a cold, refreshing drink and delicious dishes as they relax under the shady trees.

After strolling through the pueblo, return to the Plaza to collect your car and drive to lunch.

Change into swim clothes and lace up those trainers, because it's time for a little hike to one of the most amazing natural swimming pools you'll ever experience.
The Cañón de la Zorra is nestled deep in the interior, which requires a short, but steep, 10- to 20-minute walk down into the canyon through a series of stone carved steps. While you do need to be careful going down, there are ropes and railings to keep you safe.
At the bottom, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful oasis and stunning waterfall that plunges into cold, clear waters. Enjoy hiking though the area if you'd like to explore the lower pools as well.
Park at the end of the dirt road by the Rancho and bring cash for a small entrance fee payable at the interpretive centre by the parking area, then follow the stone path to the oasis.
There are no services available, so you do need to bring water with you.
