Let's start the main day of our short excursion to Paris with invigorating coffee and delicious pastries. A few doors down from the hotel is Poupart Piquot Bakery: croissants, other pastries and, of course, macaroons, a pastry made of egg whites, powdered sugar, granulated sugar and ground almonds. It is said that this ancient French delicacy was invented in a monastery. True, Italians dispute this theory and say that macaroons appeared in France after Catherine de Medici became the wife of Henry II and brought with her the cooks who were the authors of the recipe. We'll probably never know the truth.

After breakfast, we take a cab and drive to the pier, where Green River Cruises' cruises on the Seine depart. Make sure to book your boat in advance. For lunch, we choose the restaurant with perhaps the best view of Paris - Le Jules Verne, which is located in the Eiffel Tower itself at 125 meters high! Visitors praise the food, the service and, of course, the view from the windows of this place. This is a very popular place, so if you do not want to get into trouble and not to find yourself at the end of a long line, book a table in advance.

Paris is not only the city of love, but also one of the recognized fashion capitals. We shouldn't miss this fact, which means that after lunch we go shopping in one of the best department stores in the city - Le Bon Marché. You won't miss it if you set aside an hour and a half or two for it.

After a successful shopping spree, a couple of cups of coffee at Le Café de la Grande Épicerie, which is located in the department store building, and then a stroll before the evening program.

From Le Bon Marché, we walk in the direction of the Seine. The first short stop for a few shots is in front of the house where Serge Gainsbourg, French poet, composer, songwriter and performer, actor, film director and screenwriter, lived.

Then we cross the Seine over the Carrousel Bridge.

The glass pyramid of the Louvre awaits us on the other bank. We don't stay too long in front of it.

Five more minutes and we take our picture at the Palais Royal. The palace was originally built for Cardinal Richelieu and was called the Cardinal's Palace, but after the Cardinal's death, it was occupied by Anne of Austria and the young Louis XIV.

The walk ends at the restaurant Sur Un Arbre Perche, which is notable not only for its delicious food, but also for its interesting design and concept. The chairs are actually a swing, as they are suspended floating in the air, and a relaxing Shiatsu massage can be given before your meal if you wish.

After a delicious, unusual and relaxing dinner we can have some fun. We call a cab and go to Le Carmen nightclub. This club is located in the house where Georges Bizet, the author of the opera Carmen, once lived. In addition to the beautiful baroque interior, visitors note the expertly crafted cocktails.
