At 50 km from Barcelona is located fantastically beautiful mountain range Montserrat, hiding in the rocks which the Benedictine monastery - a spiritual symbol and religious center of Catalonia, where every year flows thousands of pilgrims from all over the world.
The monastery, built back in the IX century, is also called Montserrat, which means "cut" or "jagged mountains". Now on the territory of the monastery live 80 monks of the Benedictine order.

In L'Eixample, close to Plaza Catalunya, Vinitus Barcelona is a cozy tapas bar. It has become a favorite place not only for tourists, but also for locals, which speaks for the high quality of the food served. Despite the fact that the bar has two halls and a summer terrace, there are always so many visitors that in the evenings they wait for their table in a queue. Therefore, it is better to book a place in advance.
The baguettes with jamon, a variety of seafood, meat, fish, desserts - everything is excellent, fresh, instantly cooked and very tasty. The bar list includes local wines and draught beers.
The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. Wine bottles were chosen as a design solution, which are placed in large quantities on all the walls of the institution.

The Magic Fountain of Montjuic (Sants Montjuic) is the famous fountain of Barcelona, known for its light and musical performances.
Very close to the fountain is the most important monument for the Catalans, the Four Columns, symbolizing the moral independence of their homeland as part of Spain. It was demolished in 1928, but rebuilt in 2010.
The performances are thematically based on classical and contemporary music, as well as soundtracks from popular films. Shows are held in the evening, on weekends from April to October. The main fountain can be seen far enough away, so there are several points in the neighborhood where you can successfully observe it. The fountain is able to delight viewers with hundreds of compositions of water jets and a variety of lighting effects, which are constantly being improved.
