The Village of Baytowne Wharf
For non-coastal and non-bayou visitors, the wharf at Baytowne will feel almost otherworldly. This distinctly gulf-centric and cutesy visitor wharf is the perfect place to shop, walk around, and grab a snack or drink before heading off the coast. With plenty of activities for the whole family, this is well worth a stop.

Tolstoy Park, The Henry Stuart House
This gem of a stop is a unique slice of history. Tolstoy Park was the house of Henry Stuart, "The Hermit of Montrose”. The man moved from the West and built this simple hut when he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Though he was only given a few months to live, he survived 22 years longer and logged many visitors, and you should join the visitorship!
Now nestled in a business park, this site is on the National Register of Historic Places, so will stay preserved.
