Prized Stops on the Florida Panhandle

If you happen to be passing through Blountstown on a Monday, Tuesday, or Saturday morning, do whatever you can to stop by Sweet Magnolia Bakery. This cute, small-town spot has an amazing array of cookies, cupcakes, bagels, and other baked treats. It’s best to keep up with their hours and bakery offerings on their Facebook, as the opening hours, treats, and prices can vary.
If you happen to miss Sweet Magnolia, Fiddler’s Oyster House is open more frequently (from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday to Saturday).

For a beautiful, fragrant, and relaxing stop, travellers must stop at Southern Grace Lavender Farm. The farm was created in 2019, and it is Florida's first lavender farm. This stop is romantic and educational, and it’s a perfect way to stretch your legs along the drive.
The farm is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and is free to visit.

This is the kind of lunch spot that locals try to keep to themselves – for good reason! The unassuming lunch cafe serves excellent sandwiches, soups, and salads. Grab a half combo to try a couple of things, or a whole combo if you are really hungry!
Victoria's is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Tag-lined with five ecological landscapes in one location, St. Andrews is the outdoor and beach lover's paradise. There are options for all travellers. You can bike, swim, or surf. Or, if you prefer to spend your time in a more remote location, take the Shell Island Ferry to Shell Island, and spend some time on the uninhabited barrier island. Another state park – how different could it be? Very, in fact! Camp Helen has a slew of different experiences compared to St. Andrews, and it’s a great way to follow up. This quieter park boasts terrific birding and hiking, making it the perfect spot to grab binoculars, put on walking shoes, and take a look around.
Camp Helen is open 8:00 a.m. to sunset daily.
