Into the Black Forest

On arriving at Lake Titisee, you can leave your car in the Kurpark Titisee car park. There are several other car parks in Titisee if this one is full.

After driving into the Black Forest, your first stop is the Titisee alpine lake. Follow the path along the lake to the beach and feel relaxed as you breathe in the fresh mountain air. In the summer, you can even go for a quick swim in the lake. If you're ready for a cup of coffee or mid-morning snack, stop at Bootshaus Wiesler on the lake.

Park your car here and enjoy a short hike through the forest to the amazing Triberg Waterfalls.

Here you are, at Germany's highest waterfalls. Leave your car in the Parkplatz Adelheid Triberger Wasserfälle and begin the short hike to the waterfall, enjoying the beautiful Black Forest scenery – and likely lots of squirrels – along the way.

Pick up your car to continue the journey.

After your hike, you're likely ready for lunch! Stop at Gasthaus Staude for a traditional Black Forest meal featuring regional favourites. You can sit inside or outside on the patio for Black Forest views.

Your next stop will immerse you in historical Black Forest farm life. Step inside several authentically preserved thatch-roof farmhouses, barns, and other buildings. You can also watch live demonstrations, visit gardens, and meet typical farm animals. Don't forget to stop at the café for a slice of authentic Black Forest gâteau!
