After a good night's rest, it’s time to begin the final day of your road trip. Make sure to fill your thermos with tea or coffee and pack some snacks for a morning adventure. Just a short drive from your igloo is the best car park for your hike to Aittakuru Gorge. It’s an open car park, so there are no restrictions or opening hours. However, it would help if you considered snowfall, depending on the time of year you visit.

Head to Aittakuru Gorge for a lovely morning stroll, around 30 minutes each way. This is a natural gorge and a great place to see. Check for events in the area, as a natural amphitheatre has been built into the valley, and regular concerts and plays are held here.

After a brisk morning walk through the gorge, it’s time to find a local spot for lunch and coffee. Enjoy lunch in a nearby café, which is part of the ski resort. During the peak season, enjoy watching the skiers come down the piste beside the café.
