Pont Saint-Bénezet (Le Pont d'Avignon)
This Medieval bridge is in ruins and only a part of it is preserved (120 metres) but, even so, it’s part of the World Heritage Site, together with the Palais des Papes. It’s a good example of the civil architecture of the 12th century. The bridge is the protagonist in a famous French song from the 15th century: Sur le Pont d’Avignon.

L'espace Van Gogh
It’s time to visit this old hospital where Van Gogh was treated after the accident with his ear; it’s still a mystery if he cut it off himself or if Gauguin did it after a fight. The hospital garden was immortalised in one of his paintings, and you can enjoy it in real life. The artist also painted other parts of the city, where he lived for several years.
