Between Propriano and Bonifacio, after driving for an hour, you will arrive at this magnificent stop popular with most people visiting Corsica and travelling on this road. The lion of Roccapina is a head of a lion carved into the rock by entirely natural elements. How amazing!

Escalier du Roy d'Aragon - Scala di u Rè d'Aragonu
One of the most picturesque sites that holds a lot of Corsican history from medieval times is the Stairway of King Aragon.
These are 187 steps, carefully carved into the stone to create one of the most challenging climbs you will have in years. It is worth it, though, as the sight and experience itself are breathtaking.
You'll take this climb and spend an hour here immediately after lunch.
Myth has it that the 187 stairs were dug manually one night by King Aragon's men. While you descend these stairs, enjoy the boat views and the expanse of the ocean in front of you. Note that you will pay a small fee, but it's all worth it.
