After your breakfast at the wonderful Riva Bella, you will head straight to the small town of Borgo.
The town is strategically located along the highway and was the main battleground where the armies of Corsica triumphed over marauding French forces.
You will stop here and enjoy the view, with a large cemetery and tranquil village in the background, for about 15 minutes before continuing your drive to Domaine Pieretti.

For the next two hours, you will drive along the northeastern coastal side of Corsica and arrive at Domaine Pieretti winery. This is your first stop for the day.
Certainly, your Corsica wine exploration tour wouldn't be complete without visiting the wineries in the Cap Corse region; considered the progenitor of all wineries on the island.
They say a wine's quality is intertwined with its history, and the Pieretti name, inherited from the owner's grandfather, proudly upholds that legacy by crafting some of the finest red and white wines on the island.
You will learn a lot about the history of this place from the passionate owner and the guides. At Domaine Pieretti, they primarily produce all their wines organically, adhering to rigorous organic farming standards and practices.

After your visit to Domaine Pieretti winery, drive south for approximately an hour and park in the heart of Bastia at Parking Gaudin.
You will explore Bastia on foot and enjoy your lunch here.

While the wine-making tradition in the Patrimonio region traces back to the 12th century, Orenga de Gaffory was established much later, in 1967. Nonetheless, their cultural heritage and profound dedication to winemaking have set them apart, as they consistently craft some of the finest wines in this area.
The 30-minute drive from Bastia will bring you here.
You will learn that Orenga de Gaffory has a strict commitment to producing wine on their expansive 56-hectare property, employing exclusively sustainable and organic farming practices. This commitment sets them apart and elevates their wines to a level of pure distinction.
It's also worth highlighting that Orenga de Gaffory cultivates the indigenous Corsican grape, Sciaccarellu, predominantly used in producing their exquisite rosé wines.
