After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you'll set off on a drive and make this your first morning stop.
This family-run business encompasses approximately 40 hectares of vineyards. It's worth noting that they also produce wine from the local Sciacarello grape variety.
You'll have about an hour to spend at this location, allowing you to engage in wine tasting and maybe even pick a couple of bottles to take home for your friends!

A 25-minute drive from Domaine Alzipratu will take you to the heart of Calvi. Leave your car at the Parking de la plage.
Here, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch and then set out to explore Calvi on foot.

The Calvi Citadel stands out as one of Calvi's most prominent features, complemented by its iconic crystal-clear waters and crescent-shaped bay.
The purpose of your visit here is to visually immerse yourself in the charm of Calvi's old city. Upon arrival, you'll be treated to a splendid view of the glistening, pristine waters below.
This medieval Citadel carries a lot of history and myth. An ancient myth even suggests that Christopher Columbus was born here, a belief deeply cherished by the local Calvi residents. The Citadel was built by the rulers of Genoa who, during their reign, constructed it as a defence mechanism against potential invaders.
Spend about 45 minutes exploring this remarkable site and capturing as many pictures as possible to create lasting memories.

While in Calvi, it's hard to overlook Via Marine Le Bistrot. This ideally situated eatery in the heart of Calvi provides not only exceptional cuisine but also stunning vistas of the harbour. Choose a seat with a nice view and order from the menu, which offers a wide range of delectable options.
The place operates from April to October from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Following your wine-tasting adventures, it's time to embrace a new kind of experience. The vistas offered by this renowned trail are unparalleled. Hiking here is both exciting for the soul and challenging for the body.
The full GR20 hike spans multiple days, or even weeks. Today, you are just going to hike a popular trail to the beautiful Lac de Melu and back.
Remember to pack a lightweight backpack, carry at least two litres of clean drinking water, wear sturdy hiking boots and sunglasses, especially on hot summer days.
Note there are many footpath markers along the way, so it should be considerably easy to hike without a guide.
