This four-day road trip through Nevada, Arizona, and Utah offers a fascinating taste of the American West, touching upon quirky roadside Americana, Native American life, two exceptional national parks, and plenty of red rock scenery. You'll experience America’s Southwest deserts along historic Route 66, crisscross the Colorado River, bypass high desert forests, and peek in and out of canyons. The first national park is the Grand Canyon, with its majestic viewpoints, changing red hues, mesmerising size, and iconic architecture. Next, you'll drive through Zion National Park, made of sheer red rock cliffs cut through by the gurgling Virgin River.
Here, nature is the star, but you’ll discover many facets of American culture on display that are just as intriguing, from the architecture of Mary Ann Coulter and roadside diners to Native American rugs and jewellery. You'll eat at a historic lodge in the Grand Canyon, see a Native American trading post, watch rafters start their journey down the Grand Canyon, and see a remnant of another time on the original Route 66. However you look at it, this is a feast for the senses, offering memories and stories you won’t forget. Enjoy your trip!
