Today promises to be a treat for the eyes and the palate. You’ll start it with a visit to the monastery on the Odilienberg near Ottrott, which is dedicated to the patron saint of Alsace. From there, the drive continues through the wine villages of the northern Alsace Wine Route to Wissembourg. Enjoy a lunch of Alsatian or French specialties before the drive continues along the German Wine Road, where castle ruins and châteaux are always in view. Sample wines from one of the top wineries in the Palatinate. Wiesbaden awaits with one of the most magnificent castles along the Rhine, Biebrich Palace.
